Ertugrul Ghazi Season 1 Episode 29 Urdu Dubbed

Ertugrul Ghazi Season 1 Episode 29 Urdu Dubbed Who knew one television programme could teach us so much? If we want to properly gain from the history of the Ottoman Empire, we must distinguish between what is historical reality and what is just for entertainment as the Muslim world is dragged into the hysteria of Ertugrul and similar Ottoman tragedies. I really enjoy watching Ertugrul and similar programmes like “The Magnificent Century” and “Yunus Emre,” which not only contain Quranic legends and Hadith but also teach a tonne of valuable lessons about life. But let’s also celebrate historical accuracy and honour our heroes for what they REALLY DID, rather than inventing fictitious versions of them.

I have compiled information about the many brave characters from this TV series that we have come to admire from various Turkish sites and posts on social media (with references). Although I have only included the information that is based on historical evidence, this is not a complete overview of their lives. As more translations surface, inshaAllah, we will be able to piece together more of their lives. Enjoy!

Osman is the son of Ertugrul. With just 400 tents and a small portion of the Kayi tribe, Ertugurl set out on a difficult journey to the West and laid the groundwork for one of history’s greatest empires. After Sadettin Kopek poisoned Sultan Aleaddin, Aleaddin rose out against Kopek’s rule and established his own State, with the City of Sogut as its capital.
He was well renowned for his devotion to and respect for his wife. He and Halime Sultan had four kids together, and he passed away at the age of 90. The next ten years of his life were quietly spent in his tribe when he handed over all of his duties to his youngest son, Osman, because to his advanced age. The coins that Osman produced serve as historical evidence of his existence.

According to the actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, who portrayed this great character, there is information and historical facts about him that are kept in Turkish archives, within Ibn Arabi’s chronologies, in Western archives about Templars, in Byzantine’s chronologies, and in legends. However, this information only amounts to about 7 pages of sources. Despite this, Engin views the opportunity to play Ertugrul as a great honour because he was the first person in Turkish history to abandon the nomadic way of life and attempt to found a kingdom that would survive 600 years.
