Govinda, the versatile actor of the Indian film industry, has given his first reaction to the news of divorcing his wife Sunita Ahuja.
According to Indian media, there are reports that Govinda and Sunita have divorced after 38 years. For which Sunita sent a separation notice a few months ago.
It was being said in the news that Govinda had not responded to the divorce notice and the couple is living in separate houses.
On these rumors, Govinda’s nephew Krishna and niece Aarti came forward on behalf of Govinda’s family and both of them called these news false.
Govinda’s manager said that she is aware that Sunita ji has sent a divorce notice but there has been no progress on it.
However, now Govinda has also reacted. The actor said that only “business discussions” are taking place with his wife.
Actor Govinda further said that he is currently working on his new film projects and all the attention is focused on that.
Indian media, citing a close source, claimed that the problems that have arisen between the two are due to contradictory statements by some family members.
It should be remembered that Sunita Ahuja had said in a recent interview that she lives in a separate apartment with the children while Govinda lives in his bungalow.
However, when Sunita was asked about the divorce, she replied, “No one can separate me from Govinda, we are very happy and I will never let my family break up.”
Sunita had further said that she now feels somewhat insecure because Govinda is 60 years old, and she believes that men change at this stage of life.
It should be remembered that Sunita had also said to Ahuja, “In my next birth, Govinda may not be my husband.”
