A Chinese technology company has created a laptop that can be easily charged with solar energy.
The casing of a new laptop made by Chinese company Lenovo has solar panels installed that can charge the device when you are out of the house.
The company says that just 20 minutes of solar charging can provide an hour of video playback on the laptop.
The thickness of this ‘ultra-slim’ laptop is only 15 mm and weighs 1.22 kg.
This laptop is currently a concept in technical terms, but it could be offered for sale soon.
Regarding the laptop, Lenovo says that its goal is to make any place (indoors or outdoors) a productive workspace for the user.
The solar cells are mounted on the top of the laptop’s casing, which houses the screen, and Lenovo claims that its panels have a 24 percent light-to-electricity conversion rate.
