Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has issued an important message a few days after his wife Sonali Sood’s recent car accident, in which he stressed the importance of road safety and the use of seat belts.
According to Indian media, Sonu Sood said in a video message that moments before the accident that happened in Nagpur last week, all the people in the car had fastened their seat belts, due to which they were all safe. His wife, his wife’s nephew and his wife’s sister were also present in the car at that time.
The actor said that his wife had asked her sister to wear a seat belt just a minute before the accident. That is, she wore a seat belt and the accident happened only one to two minutes later and she was saved because of this seat belt.
Sonu Sood said that the world saw the condition of his car after the accident, but the seat belt saved the lives of his loved ones. He also pointed out the common belief that most people, especially those sitting in the back seat, do not wear seat belts. He said that 99 out of 100 people do not use seat belts in the back seat.
At the end of his message, Sonu Sood appealed to the public that even if you are sitting in the back seat of the car, you must fasten your seat belt so that you and your family are safe.
The action star wrote in his post: ‘If you do not have a seat belt, then your family is not either, fasten your seat belt, even if you are in the back seat.’
It may be recalled that a few days ago, Sonu Sood’s car had a dangerous road accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway in which his car was completely destroyed.
