The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new T20 player rankings, in which Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have further dropped.
In the latest rankings released on the ICC website, former national team captain Babar Azam has dropped one place to 8th, while Shaheen Shah Afridi has dropped six places to 30th.

In the ICC T20 batting rankings, Australia’s Travis Head retains the top spot, India’s Abhishek Sharma is second and England’s Phil Salt is third.

India’s Tilak Verma is fourth and India’s Suryakumar Yadav is fifth, while England’s Jos Buttler, Sri Lanka’s Patham Nissanka, Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera are in sixth to tenth positions respectively.
Talking about bowling, there is no Pakistani bowler in the ICC top 20, Haris Rauf is in 26th place in the top 30 and Shaheen Afridi is in 30th place.
In the bowlers’ list, West Indies’ Aqeel Hussain is at the first place, India’s Varun Chakravardy is at the second place and England’s Adil Rashid is at the third place.
